This month’s dynamic duo is Program Director Davone “Von” Anduze and Teen Director Jazmyne Brewer, both valued members of the A.W. Tony Matthews Boys & Girls Club.
These two colleagues first crossed paths 6 months ago at the Matthews Club. It was Jazmyne’s first day as program director, and the two quickly bonded over shared interests, particularly their mutual admiration for their love of great food.
Adding to the charm of their camaraderie, they encourage everyone to find their work buddy because it creates a positive atmosphere.
Von and Jazmyne’s friendship blossomed organically and naturally, and Von describes it as a “finding a long-lost cousin.”
Both Von and Jazmyne agree that working alongside their work bestie alleviates worries and creates a positive atmosphere.
“Having a work bestie increases the staff morale tremendously,” Jazmyne said.
Outside of work, Von and Jazmyne enjoy activities such as finding great spots to eat.
“Our friendship has naturally evolved, and it feels like the best party ever coming to work,” Von said.
