About

In 2021, Alumni Relations was launched as an extension of support to former Club members as they transition. We strive to connect with former Club members and share stories to inspire current Club members.

Q&A

Why Boys & Girls Club

The Boys and Girls Club allows me to connect with the next generation of change-makers at all stages. I love that I have a chance to interact with youth as they transition and transform. I am honored to be a part of that journey.

What is Alumni Relations?

Alumni Relations continues BGCMA support as rising alumni transition into college, workforce, or military. We will be focusing specifically on connection, tracking, and sharing stories of Club alumni.

Who Influenced Me?

My most significant influence is my parents. My parents chose to be leaders in the community and advocates for emerging adults. Their example pathed the way for my passion for young people and made me an agent of change.

Advice for Alumni?

“When you’ve worked hard, and done well, and walked through the doorway of opportunity, you do not slam it shut behind you. No, you reach back.”- Maya Angelou.
