Meet Jannaco: Youth of the Year for Warren Boys & Girls Club

Club membership: Joined in 2015

Post-Secondary/Career Interest: I aspire to attend Georgia Institute of Technology and major in computer science with a minor in cybersecurity.

How has your Club supported your goals for college, post-secondary education, and career? The Club has allowed me to be in rooms with a lot of different people of all career paths which has given me the chance to learn and explore.

Why is it important for the youth to use their voice in today’s society? It is important for the youth to use their voice because that’s the strongest part and loudest part of the body. When we come together and use our voice we can change anything.

Short Bio: Jannaco is a 17-year-old senior who credits the Club with helping him overcome getting in trouble a lot in the past. As well as participating in the Judo program, where he aspires to lead the next generation and have a positive impact on them like his coach had on him.
