Post-Secondary/Career Interest: College to become an athletic trainer.

How has your Club supported your goals for college, post-secondary education, and career? My Club has supported my goals for college by providing scholarship opportunities, college tours, and providing information on things we need to know before, during and after college.

Why is it important for the youth to use their voice in today’s society? It is important for youth to use their voices in today’s society because there is power in what we say, and if we do not speak up and advocate for the things we need, someone or something else will speak for us.

Short Bio: Da’Shawn is a 17-year-old senior who credits Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta achieving his goal of becoming college and career ready. The Club provided him with opportunities to develop leadership skills, explore career interests, prepare for college, and connect with mentors who encouraged me to pursue my goals.
