ATLANTA (March 14, 2025) – Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta (BGCMA) raised $75,326 at its sixth annual Rebel Women Breakfast, held March 13 at Zoo Atlanta’s Savanna Hall. The event brought together more than 300 women leaders and supporters to celebrate International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month wh

ile advancing leadership programs for girls.

The Rebel Women Breakfast is one of three signature events hosted by Champions

Club for Girls, BGCMA’s women’s giving circle. The group provides time, funding and mentorship to support female Club members ages 12 to 18. Contributions from the breakfast will support year-round leadership programming for girls across metro Atlanta, including hands-on opportunities to engage with women mentors.

This year’s theme, “Accelerate Action: Unleashing the Power Within,” featured a panel of trailblazing women: Roz Brewer, interim president of Spelman College and former CEO of Walgreens Boots Alliance; Beth Lowry, president of Holder Construction; and Mikaila Ulmer, entrepreneur and founder of Me & the Bees Lemonade. The event was moderated by BGCMA trustee Stephanie Blank, with WSB-TV’s Condace Pressley as emcee.
