Week four of summer at Woolfolk was Planet Earth week! Even though it was SUPER hot, younger members had a blast learning about different types of animals at Zoo Atlanta. Special thanks to VSA Arts of Georgia for providing free tickets for our members to the zoo and Atlanta Botanical Garden during Planet Earth Week!
Week four also saw members continue the Life Skills program, delivered in partnership with the First Tee of Atlanta. Twelve Woolfolk members get a chance to go to John A. White Park and receive golf instruction from First Tee staff and volunteers once a week. Friday June 22 was a beautiful day on the course!
As a sweet treat for Planet Earth week, Ms. LaShondra helped members create edible “dirt cups” with crushed cookies, pudding, and a gummy worm to top it all off!
Members are looking forward to Limitless Week, where they will compete in various Minute-to-Win-It style challenges to see which age group takes the crown at the end of the week!
