What does the phrase “The Power of Now” mean to you? To me, “The Power of Now” means you can’t control what you can’t see—so focus on what’s in front of you.
Why is it important for kids to use their voice? Teens deserve to be seen, heard, and loved. Every voice matters.
Short Bio: Daejah is a 16-year-old junior at At-Promise South. The Club’s opportunities—field trips, Keystone, staff support—helped her through family challenges and strengthened her mental health advocacy. She volunteers with gardening and youth sports and plans to study nursing at FAMU while performing with the band.
