Why is your Boys & Girls Club important to you? “It has helped me discover strengths and qualities within myself that I never knew existed.”
How does it feel to represent your Club as Youth of the Year? What does it mean to you? “It means a lot to me and my club because I am proud to be the first male Youth of the Year for the Shaq Club.”
Meet Christian: Christian is a 17-year-old senior at McDonough High School and a four-year member of the Shaquille O’Neal Boys & Girls Club. He plans to attend Texas Christian University (TCU) to major in chemical engineering while pursuing his dream of playing baseball and making it into the MLB as a pitcher for the Texas Rangers. Chris values his Club for helping him discover his potential and providing support through academic challenges. As the first male Youth of the Year for his Club, he aims to inspire others to pursue their dreams. To Chris, a legacy of impact means leaving behind something meaningful that positively affects others.
