At Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta (BGCMA), strong connections often form between colleagues, and that’s exactly what happened with Health and PE Instructor Edwin Meyer and Middle School Instructor Desiree Brown.
Both in their third year of service at William M. & Betty E. Small Boys & Girls Club (formerly Chamblee Club), they quickly became friends on Desiree’s first day, thanks to their neighboring classrooms. From that initial meeting, their friendship has grown, fueled by shared laughs, creative collaborations, and fun outings outside of work. Here, Edwin and Desiree talk about how they met, what makes their friendship unique, and why they love working together.
