The following Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta locations will be closed due to inclement weather:
- At Promise West
- At Promise Southwest
- At Promise South

Rain, sleet, ice, and snow are expected this weekend across metro Atlanta and North Georgia. The FOX 5 Storm Team has declared Friday and Saturday as Storm Alert Days due to the threat of winter weather.
Important Reminders for BGCMA Families
To ensure safety and prevent damage during the winter weather:
- Leave pipes dripping and set thermostats to 72°F.
- Open cabinets and room doors to allow heat to flow freely throughout your building or home.
If You Must Travel
Experts recommend preparing your vehicle with the following essential items to stay safe during winter weather events:
- Blankets, sleeping bags, and extra clothing like hats, gloves, and scarves.
- Ice scraper, snow brush, and a compact shovel.
- Jumper cables, tire chains, and a tow strap.
- Reflective triangles, flashlights with extra batteries, and a high-visibility vest.
- Cell phone charger, portable power bank, and a first aid kit.
- Snacks, bottled water, and hand warmers.
- Emergency tools like a multi-tool, duct tape, and an escape tool.
- Cat litter or sand for traction if your vehicle gets stuck.
