Join us as we bike and walk the Rockdale River Trail, a beautiful natural escape through Rockdale County. Riders and walkers will enjoy pristine scenery along a safe, carefully planned route, beginning and ending the event at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit, one of the most popular attractions in the county.

WHY WE RIDE
On Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, Seth Owen, a devoted husband, father, son, brother, coworker, and friend to many went for his usual bike ride and experienced a massive heart attack leaving us all way too early. His wife and Acuity Brands co-workers founded the Finish the Ride Foundation to honor the life of Seth and continue his legacy of service to his community and his passion of cycling through the annual Finish the Ride Event. All proceeds from Finish the Ride will benefit the Finish the Ride Foundation to allow the development of other events in Seth’s honor: the A.R. “Gus” Barksdale Boys & Girls Club, where he served as a volunteer board member, and the American Heart Association to raise awareness of heart disease.
