October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta (BGCMA) members & staff are honoring survivors, remembering those lost to the disease, and supporting progress made to defeat breast cancer.
On Real Kids Wear Pink Day (Oct. 22), our 25 Clubs across 11 counties proved kids too can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.
“I am so heartened by the incredible response to Pink Out Friday this year,” BGCMA President & CEO David Jernigan wrote to staff. “Thank you for doing your part to support the fighters, admire the survivors, and honor the taken. Most importantly, our collective response represents to our kids, families, and staff who may be touched by breast cancer that we never ever give up hope.”
