Here at A. Worley one of my main goals with my Keystone members is teaching them responsibility and taking ownership of anything they are involved in. So I teach them how to run certain activities and classes here in the club, and then they are allowed to facilitate classes/activities after showing great determination. So, right before the Keystone conference, I gave my Keystone members the chance to raise money here the club by throwing a GAME NIGHT, ESCAPE ROOM EDITION, and they absolutely blew my mindddd…I was so proud to know every day leading up to the event they were meeting on their own, budgeting on their own, creating a 3 hour schedule full of activities, and funnnnn for our members. They had supply sheets, food plans, and everything else I usually would have to do for them. They took our gym and turned it into a real escape room full of puzzles, and cool lighting and props. I was so proud to see them take all of the skills they learned during the school year from me, and come together despite attitudes and differences and work as a team. They had such a successful event and raised over $700 that night. I was a proud MAMA that day.
