Welcome to the RISE 2025 microsite! It is with great enthusiasm that I announce the launch of our strategic plan. Over the last couple of years, we have conducted a rigorous examination of where we have been, where we are now, and where we want to go – ultimately serving more kids, more often, with greater impact.

This microsite outlines our strategic priorities and the key objectives we must achieve to realize our vision. It also includes the specific metrics we will use to track progress and the goals that define our success. We will update our results periodically, so we encourage you to check in to see how we are doing and challenge us to push further for our kids.

As we have developed our strategic plan, RISE 2025, we have come back many times to a resounding theme. Every child possesses power and potential. They teach us as much as we teach them. All children should have access to the resources and relationships they need to thrive.

Alongside our Club families and so many partners in the community, our role is to ignite the potential within the thousands of kids and teens that join our Clubs each day by creating safe, inclusive, and engaging environments. As we look ahead, we see hope and opportunity – a future full of young leaders who strengthen their communities and the world. I believe this plan will guide us to rise and meet the challenges and opportunities before us.

We are so grateful to all the voices that have informed this plan. From board members to team members and community partners to donors, each of you plays a significant role in this plan’s success and has been instrumental in shaping it along the way. Thank you!

As we look ahead to the future, the challenges our kids face are raw and real. They will need their trusted mentors as they begin to recover from the social-emotional and academic challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic has introduced and, in many cases, exacerbated. Kids and teens are processing the racial inequities they see around them – and the role they will play in fighting for justice. Alongside the community, Boys & Girls Club has such a huge role to play in their journey. Witnessing our kids’ brilliance and resilience continues to inspire and reaffirm our commitment while recognizing the honor and enormous responsibility entrusted to us by our stakeholders.

It is our kids that give us hope. It is our resolve that will take us forward. It is partners like you that will make this possible.
