Lights! Camera! Leadership! Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta Celebrates Teen Leaders at 2026 Youth of the Year Gala

For Immediate Release

ATLANTA, GA – October 12, 2026 – Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta (BGCMA) will host its annual Youth of the Year Gala on November 6, 2026, at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta sponsored by Open Arc Corporate Advisory. The event benefits extraordinary teens who exemplify leadership, service and academic excellence. Each BGCMA Club selects a standout teen to represent its Club, with one nominee named BGCMA’s Youth of the Year, the organization’s highest honor.

“The Youth of the Year Gala gives us the opportunity to celebrate the incredible potential of our young people and the leaders they are becoming,” said Libby Saylor Wright, President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta. “The event showcases what happens when we invest in our young people by surrounding them with mentors and adults who are willing to invest their time and experience; provide the essential human skills; and give them a platform to discover and develop their voice.”

This year’s gala will be hosted by Atlanta veteran media personality Monica Pearson, host of “Monica Pearson One on One” along with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Augusta alum Keith D. Robinson, actor and singer known for his role as Dr. Ted Richardson in the CBS daytime drama “Beyond the Gates” and the Oscar-nominated film “Dreamgirls.”

Funds raised through the Youth of the Year Gala support BGCMA’s mission to ignite the unlimited potential of kids and teens by creating safe, inclusive and engaging environments where young people can learn, grow and lead.
