BGCMA Honors Class of 2021 at Annual Senior Celebration

“Let’s Rally with the Fam – Together Again” was this year’s Senior Celebration theme, as Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta (BGCMA) gathered in person on June 5 to celebrate the accomplishments of BGCMA’s Class of 2021.

At BGCMA, our work is about helping kids & teens ignite their unlimited potential by providing safe, inclusive, and engaging environments. And it is our vision that our Club members will become young leaders who are thriving in life and strengthening the future of their communities and the world.

Our seniors are everything we envisioned and so much more.

On this day, we also celebrated recipients of our Proud Partner awards – community leaders and organizations who have gone above and beyond to serve our seniors through volunteerism and partnership. They have become a huge part of our BGCMA family. Thank you to the following individuals and partners:

• Alumni Volunteer of the Year Award: Ibrahima Gueye
• Community Partner of the Year Award: Delta Sigma Theta
• Corporate Partner of the Year Award: Old Navy

Earning more than $100,000 in BGCMA and partner scholarships awarded at the Senior Celebration, the BGCMA Class of 2021 will embark in the world as members of the Armed forces, students in two or four-year colleges and technical & trade schools, as well as members of the workforce.

Congratulations to the resilient Class of 2021 and to the tenacious village of parents, family, mentors, as well as BGCMA & Teen Services staff who have helped our seniors reach this milestone.
