Below are answers to some of our most frequently asked questions regarding renting Camp Kiwanis for weddings and events.
Insurance Requirements:
Licensee shall obtain at its expense general liability and property loss and damage insurance coverage, including theft and vandalism, with a combined single limit of $1,000,000.00 Such insurance shall also cover any
and all liability assumed under the forgiving indemnity, in each case naming Licensor as an additional insured and loss payee, and providing for at least thirty (30) days prior written notice to Licensor in the event of cancellation. Licensee shall provide proof of coverage in a form reasonably satisfactory to Licensor. You may purchase the general liability insurance
coverage through your own insurance, or a number of online event insurance options available.
How many tables & chairs are available?
19 (60 in-5ft) Round tables: 30 in. high Seat 6-8 ppl.
5 (72 in-6ft) Rectangle tables-great for food, gifts, etc.
4 (48 in-4ft) Rectangle tables-great for cakes, pics, etc.

Can the tables & chairs be used for the outside?
Tables & Chairs are for inside use only, however they can be used on the
porch only in non-inclement weather.
When can I set-up for my event?
With a Saturday rental of Franklin Hall, set up/decorating can be done the Friday before the event. Set up hours are 10AM-4PM for $100 (exception: summer season) and $100/hour for additional hours needed.
Can I have my rehearsal at Camp Kiwanis?
Yes, with the rental of Franklin Hall, you can host the rehearsal and/or dinner for an additional $100/hr after 4PM.
Do you have facilities for the bridal party to get dressed?
Facilities to stay overnight?
Depending on availability we have 2 cabins for overnight guests. The Prices range from $140-160/night. We also have cabins/office available for daily usage. Prices for the day range from $80-100 & they are available only during your Saturday event times. NO Overnights available during the
summer camp season. (staff housing)
Is alcohol allowed to be served at my event?
Alcohol is allowed, however we do reserve the right to prohibit usage if the
event or guests gets out of control. No one is allowed to sell alcoholic beverages unless they have a beer & wine license, and TIPS certified bartenders.
What are the rules for Kitchen/caterers?
You will be able to use the ice, refrigerators, prep areas & sinks. If you have an established caterer, they must be licensed (& provide a copy) to operate the equipment in the kitchen. To operate the commercial equipment in the kitchen there is an additional $100 fee, or they can cook off site. If you have an established caterer, they must be licensed (& provide a copy) to operate the equipment in the kitchen. If you cater your event, you will not
be allowed to use the commercial equipment.
